Men & Fathers

Being a man today can involve navigating very different and sometimes conflicting expectations. Many men find themselves between what they have learned growing up and newer ideas about relationships, fatherhood, intimacy and how they want to live.

I have a particular interest in working with men and fathers, including topics such as relationships, becoming a father, family life, separation, stress, self-esteem, identity and finding one’s own way of dealing with expectations and responsibilities.

Psychotherapy while walking

Psychotherapy does not always have to take place sitting opposite each other in a therapy room. For some people, movement and being outdoors can create a different and helpful setting for therapeutic conversations.

If it fits your needs and the therapeutic process, individual sessions can therefore also take place while walking or outdoors. This is not a separate form of therapy, but an optional part of ongoing psychotherapy.

Time in green spaces and movement in nature can also support wellbeing, stress regulation and mental health.
